It has arrived, 2012 is here. Christmas has whizzed by in a blur and we are basking in the languid stupor that is typical of early January. People are in pre, mid or post holiday mode. A new year is also a time to reflect on the year passed and to ponder the year ahead. I myself am determined this year, month, week to re organise and sort, to military standards, every orifice in my house. No nook will be spared. Aspirational, I know. Particularly with children in the house, the junk they accumulate is frightening. I feel I am drowning in Santa’s loot.
